Hai! I am a fine arts major student from the class of '26. I love creating all kinds of art, but my favorite is drawing and sculpting surrealist art. I am currently living in Brooklyn, feel free to add me on instagram @celinagy_ and say hi :)

Underground Art: NYC Subway Installations

Parsons faculty member Allan Wexler and his partner Ellen created Overlook at Brooklyn's LIRR Atlantic Terminal station. The sculpted balcony is clad in tiles of granite—a material used throughout the station—that appear pixelated to reflect digital technologies that are revolutionizing design.
American-Hong Kong artist Bing Lee designed this ceramic tile piece, titled Empress Voyage 2/27/1784, for the Canal Street station to commemorate the return of an American trade ship from East Asia in 1794.
For the Bedford St. station, Brooklyn-based Canadian artist Marcel Dzama created a striking mural, No Less Than Everything Comes Together, of whimsical figures under the sun and moon.
Katherine Bradford created Queens of the Night, a series of glass mosaic installations reflecting the community that uses the 1st Ave station.
Manuel Vega created Un Sabado en la Ciento Diez (A Saturday on 110th Street), four mosaic panels at the 110th St./Lexington Avenue station, which depict life in his barrio.
The recently renovated 23rd St. station, near campus, includes Stationary Figures a series of mosaics by celebrated local artist William Wegman, depicting two of his Weimaraner dogs, Flo and Topper, that his work typically features.
Felipe Galindo created various faceted glass installations for the windscreens at the 231st Street subway station.
